Challenge

This exciting Dutch fashion house entrusted the Kesslers team the execution of their Spring-Summer window campaign, inspired by Musa Shiya, the Japanese-born, Honululu-raised Hawaiian Shirt maker. Requiring an updatable island in varying sizes for different store and window types, our challenge was to realise the creation of a simple set of kit that could be shipped in one consignment, containing four different displays each for men’s and women’s collections, which were ‘store-friendly’ and could be readily updated by colleagues. While we needed to bear in mind the practical operation elements, the requirements for the design pieces were aspirational, drawing in influences from key parts of Shiya’s life and showing the clothes off to their best advantage in each window.

Strategy

As well as the concept development and manufacturing of the in-store furniture, Kesslers also produced shopfront signage and graphics through their Hexcite Group partners, to support Dobbies in opening this new store concept in record time. Additional stores have now opened and plans for more will be revealed soon - watch this space!
